Medication must be kept in a locked place using a safe locking methos that prevents access by children. There was a box of individually blister-wrapped, over the counter, homeopathic teething relief medicine on an open shelf at a height of approximately 3 feet next to the diapering table in the restroom that children utilize.
Plan of Correction: The medication was removed from the restroom and locked in the designated medication cabinet during the inspection. Staff will be reminded to always bring any children's medication to the front office for review and proper storage.
