Inspector Notes

An unannounced mandated inspection was completed on 4/24/2024 from10:30amuntil 11:40. There were 5 children and three staff present. Four children?s records and five staff records were reviewed. Children were observed at free play, playing in the inside gym, washing hands and getting ready to eat lunch.

The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violation (s) were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on record review, the center did not have a written care plan for each child with a diagnosed food allergy, to include instructions from a physician regarding the food to which the child is allergic and the steps to be taken in the event of a suspected or confirmed allergic reaction;
Evidence:
Child #3 had a diagnosed food allergy but did not have a written care plan.
Plan of Correction: The required plan from the physician will be received.
