Inspector Notes

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, and a virtual tour of the program.

A monitoring inspection was conducted on 3/2/2022. The provider was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 11 children present (28 points), ranging in ages from 6 months to 5 years, with the provider and one assistant caregiver supervising. The Inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, special care and emergencies, and nutrition. A total of 3 children's records and 2 caregiver records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and one violation was documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observations, it was determined that soft bedding was place in a crib used by a 6 month old infant.
Evidence:
One 6 month old infant was observed in a crib with a loose blanket hanging over the side rail. In addition, the infant was lying on top of a small loose blanket.
Plan of Correction: Both blankets were immediately removed during the inspection. The blankets will not be used while she's still an infant.
