Inspector Notes

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contact, documents review, interviews and a virtual tour of the program.

A monitoring inspection was conducted on March 25, 2022. The provider was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. In the care of the provider were 4 children, ranging in age from 15 months to 4 years (10 Points). The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical health of caregivers, training, care of children, physical environment, nutrition, preventing the spread of disease, and emergencies. Two children's records, the provider's record and the records of two household members were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and the violation was documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on review of the provider and household members' records and verification from the provider, two household members did not obtain updated tuberculosis (TB) screenings within two years of the most recent screening.

Evidence:
1. The records of Household Member #1 and Household Member #2 contained updated TB screenings dated.02/16/2022. The dates of their previous TB screenings were 01/17/2020.
2. The provider verified that the screenings had not been completed within two years.
Plan of Correction: In the future, the provider will ensure that TB screenings are completed within two years of the most recent screening.
