During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above, to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on 5/30/25. The on-site inspection began at 12:00pm and ended at 1:35pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 12 children present and 3 staff. The inspector reviewed 5 children's records and 4 staff records on-site. This inspection included document review, a tour of the facility, interviews and observations. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

The program is required to submit to VDH and implement a plan to test potable water for lead.

The program did not have evidence of a testing plan submitted to VDH.
Plan of Correction: The center responded with the following: A testing plan will be submitted to VDH and testing results will be submitted once received.
Standard 8VAC20-780-245-L
There shall always be at least one staff member on duty who has obtained within the last three years instruction in performing the daily health observation of children. There was no one working at the center on the day of the inspection with current daily heatlh observation training.
Plan of Correction: The center responded with the following: Staff will complete an updated Daily Health Observation training course.
