Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted September 20, 2022 between the hours of 11:30 am and 1:10 pm. There were 10 children present, with 3 staff supervising. Children were observed playing outside, eating lunch, preparing for naptime, diapering, bottle feeding and sleeping. There was positive interaction between children and caregivers. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, evacuation drill logs, attendance logs, children and caregiver files, special care and emergencies and nutrition. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on record review and interview, the provider did not obtain proof of the child?s age and identify.
Evidence:
1. There was no documentation for proof of Identity for Child #2.
2. The provider reviewed Child #2 file and confirmed proof of identity was not obtained.
Plan of Correction: I will speak to the parents tonight.
