Inspector Notes

A Subsidy Health and Safety monitoring inspection was conducted on 8/8/2022 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. This inspection began at 12:25pm and ended at 1:45pm. There were 3 caregivers with 8 children (22 points) at the time of the visit. At the start of the inspection, children were observed taking a nap and being held. Children's files, emergency preparedness procedures, evacuation drill log were reviewed. The physical plant and playground were inspected. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements. Thank you for your cooperation today. Evidence:
1. Caregiver #3 (doh: 11/1/2021) did not have documentation of completing the Virginia Preservice Training on file at the time of the inspection.
Plan of Correction: I will have the staff member complete the training.
