Inspector Notes

A renewal inspection was initiated and concluded on 9/20/2023.There were 58 children present with 10 staff supervising and 4 administrators. The children were observed during lunch time and nap time. A total of 7 child records and 5 staff records were reviewed. The inspection started at 12:15 pm and concluded at 3:00 pm.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation and staff interview the center did not ensure the ratio for balanced-mixed-age groupings of children shall be one staff member for every 14 children.
Evidence: The director confirmed that Staff #4, in the Children?s House 2 room, was alone with 18 children ages 3-6.
Plan of Correction: Additional staff will be assigned during lunch period.
