Standard 8VAC20-780-510-L
Based on observation, the center did not ensure that medication be kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.

Evidence: In the Early Preschool 2B classroom, there were 2 packets of Ibuprofen, 2 packets of Aspirin, and 2 packets of Acetaminophen medications stored on a countertop inside an unlocked first aid kit.
Plan of Correction: The first aid kit that was observed on the teacher's counter was removed during inspection. Moving forward staff will ensure first aid kits are in a locked cabinet.
