Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on 02/20/2026 in response to a complaint received by the licensing office on 01/28/2026 relating to programs. The inspector reviewed 2 staff records and 1 child record onsite. This inspection included document review and interviews.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the violation will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five (5) business days from today, which will be the close of business on 03/30/2026. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

Behavioral guidance shall be constructive in nature, age and stage appropriate and shall be intended to redirect children to appropriate behavior.
On October 15, 2025, S1 posted on social media that she had to ?full body wrestle? a child because he refused to wash his hands, and she had to ?carry him kicking and screaming to the sink?. S2 confirmed in an interview on 02/20/2026, that S1 physically removed a child from the carpet due to him not following directions to wash his hands.
Plan of Correction: CCNS took immediate corrective action. Teachers participated in multiple training sessions, covering de-escalation techniques, and how to properly support a child during emotional dysregulation while maintaining safety for all children. Observations continued to ensure accountability and continued growth.
