Inspector Notes

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A monitoring inspection was initiated and concluded on 5/19/21. The provider was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 5 children (13 points) and 2 caregivers present. The inspector emailed the director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed 2 children?s records and 2 caregiver records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete. A virtual inspection was also conducted to assess the care of children, and the indoor space used by the children. There were no medications on site. Emergency drills were current. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility. The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs. For any questions related to this inspection, please contact me at 571-835-4718 or mahrukh.aziz@dss.virginia.gov.
