Areas Reviewed

A renewal inspection was conducted on 1/19/23 from 10:20 am to 11:50 am. There were 6 children (17 points) present with 3 caregivers supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A walk through of the home's indoor and outdoor space was conducted to assess the space used by the children. The children were observed eating morning snack, doing circle time and playing outside. There were no children with medications on site. A total of 2 children's records, 3 caregiver's records and emergency drills were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. For any questions regarding this inspection, please contact me at mahrukh.aziz@doe.virginia.gov or 571-835-4718.
