Inspector Notes

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted from 10:45 am - 11:45 am. There were nine children in care with the provider and two assistants for a total of 27 points. The children were observed participating in circle time activities. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of five child records, one household member record, and three staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on observation it was determined that infant walkers were not prohibited. Evidence: An infant walker was observed in the play area of the family day home.
Plan of Correction: The provider will remove the wheels from the infant walker.
