Inspector Notes

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews and a virtual tour of the program.
A renewal inspection was initiated and concluded on 1/20/22. The provider was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 4 children present (12 points) with 1 caregiver supervising. A virtual walk through of the family day home was conducted to assess the indoor and outdoor space. Children were observed playing with toys. There were no medications on site. Emergency drill records and supplies were reviewed. 3 children's records, 3 caregiver's records and 2 household member records were reviewed. Currently all children are required to bring food from home. The provider is providing snacks.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. For any questions regarding this inspection, please contact me at mahrukh.aziz@doe.virginia.gov or 571-835-4718.
