Violations

1
Standard 8VAC20-780-570-A
Based on observation and interview, the center did not ensure when a child is placed in an infant seat or highchair, the protective belt was fastened securely.

Evidence:

Child #7 was observed being feed in a highchair without the protective belt being fastened. Staff acknowledged the belt was not fastened.
Plan of Correction: The staff member fastened the safety belt on the highchair. Per the director: I will review with staff the procedures to ensure all safety belts are fastened when in use.
