Inspector Notes

A mandated renewal inspection was conducted on June 12, 2024 from approximately 9:50am-12:30pm. There were 29 children in care with 8 staff supervising. Children were observed playing with playdough, freely playing outside on the playground, eating lunch, washing hands and getting ready for nap. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records and 5 staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

REPEAT VIOLATION

Based on record review and interview, name, address, and telephone number of a person to be notified in an emergency was not kept at the center for all staff.

Evidence: Administrator stated the staff emergency contacts were not available at the facility.
Plan of Correction: Staff emergency contact information will be available at the center by end of day June 12, 2024.

Based on record review and interview, attendance was not taken for each group of children that documents arrival and departure as it occurs.

Evidence: There were 8 children present in the dreamers classroom and 5 children were on the attendance sheet. There were 6 children present in the believers classroom and 4 children were listed on the attendance sheet.
Plan of Correction: We will ensure attendance is accurate for each classroom.
