Inspector Notes
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on 3/30/23 from 11:15am to 12:05pm with the provider. There were no children in care as the provider reports that the children who are enrolled attend on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays only. Three child records, the provider?s record, and one household member record were reviewed. The provider has current certification in CPR and First Aid. The provider understands that they must obtain certification in Medication Administration Training (MAT) in order to give medication. The first aid kit, flashlight, weather band radio, carbon monoxide detector, and fire extinguisher were observed. The emergency drill log, attendance, and menu were also reviewed. If you have questions regarding this inspection, please contact the Licensing Inspector, Laura Brindle, at laura.brindle@doe.virginia.gov or 540-905-2062.
