Inspector Notes

This renewal inspection was initiated by licensing staff and concluded on 07/28/2022, between the hours of 9:30 am to 1 pm. There were 141 children present, ranging from infant to school-age, with 22 staff supervising across 10 classrooms. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration; physical plant; staffing and supervision; programming; medication; special care and emergencies; and nutrition. A total of 10 children records, and 5 new staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined that there was (1) non-compliance with an applicable standard. This violation was documented on the Violation Notice issued to the center.

Based on observation and interview, a piece of equipment within the center was not maintained in a safe condition.

Evidence -
1. On the date of inspection (07/28/2022), within the bathroom located in the Older Toddler room, the upper lid to the left toilet was missing.
2. The Center Director stated that it broke 2 weeks ago.
Plan of Correction: The replacement lid is on back order. Top of toilet is taped up to prevent access.
