Inspector Notes

This monitoring inspection was initiated by licensing staff and concluded on 01/26/2024, between the hours of 9 am to 11:30 am. There were 156 children present, ranging from infant to preschool-age, with 23 classroom staff supervising, across 11 separate groups. The children were engaged in the following: tummy time, infant napping, diapering, hand washing, snack time, center activities within their classroom, outside play, art, computer, music, and other organized activities. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration; physical plant; staffing and supervision; programming; medication; special care and emergencies; and nutrition. A total of 11 children records, and 5 staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined that there was (1) non-compliance with an applicable standard. This violation was documented on the Violation Notice issued to the center.

Based on observation, infant formula refrigerated within the Infant room was labeled incorrectly.

Evidence -
1. On the date of inspection (01/26/2024), three bottles for Child #1 were dated - "11/27, 11/28, and 11/29" and not the current date.
2. This observation was confirmed by center staff on the date of inspection.
