Inspector Notes
An unannounced focused monitoring inspection was conducted today, October 18, 2023, as a follow-up to the issuance of a provisional license. The director was present and assisted in the inspection. There were 34 children present, ranging in ages from three months to four years, with seven staff supervising. Upon the inspector?s arrival, preschoolers were sewing pumpkins, tracing letters of their name and playing in centers. The toddlers and two?s classrooms were on the playground playing and Infants were observed playing with toys and napping.
The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, medication, special care and emergencies. A total of two child records and two staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
