Inspector Notes
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today, January 18, 2024. The inspector was on site from approximately 1:00 pm until 3:45 pm. The director was present and assisted in the inspection. There were 34 children present, ranging in ages from nine months to five years, with eight staff supervising. Later ten school-age children arrived with two additional staff.
Upon the inspector?s arrival, children were napping. Later children were observed having snack, story time, playing with animal figures and other toys. Children had time outside on the playground where they rode small trikes. Upon arriving from school, school-agers had snack and worked on homework.
The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, transportation, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of five child records and six staff records were reviewed.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
