Inspector Notes

An unannounced inspection was conducted from 11:30am to 1:00pm on 3/21/24 with the Directors in response to a self-report made by the center relating to a child being served a food to which they are allergic. Interviews were conducted and documentation was reviewed. There was a violation cited based on the inspection, and that can be found on the Violation Notice. Please complete the "Plan of Correction" and "Date to be Corrected" areas on the Violation Notice for each violation cited and return to me by close of business on 4/9/24. Plans of correction should include steps to correct the noncompliance with the standard, and measures to prevent the noncompliance from occurring again.

Based on interview and documentation reviewed, a child with a diagnosed food allergy was served a food identified in the child?s written allergy care plan. Evidence: At approximately 9:30am on 3/13/24 Child A was served milk by Staff #1 at breakfast. The allergy care plan for Child A contains documentation of diagnosed allergies to dairy and peanuts.
