The center is required to request the results of a search of the central registry for each staff prior to employment. Staff are able to be provisionally hired once the request has been submitted, if all other background check results are received, but must work under sight supervision of a staff member who has all of the required current background checks.
On 2/18/26 Staff #1 was observed working alone in a classroom. The staff member?s central registry request had been submitted more than six weeks prior, but results were not yet received.

When staff are supervising children, they are required to always ensure their care and protection.
On 2/18/26 a staff member in the Infant classroom was asked if any children present had diagnosed food allergies. The staff member reported that none did. The allergy list in the classroom contained documentation of an infant present with food allergies and emergency medication on-site for the allergy. The staff member was asked a second time and again reported that no children present had food allergies.
