Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on 05/14/2025, as a part of the licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 10a.m. and ended at 11:30a.m. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 10 children present and caregivers; the point total was 27. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 3 caregiver/household member records on-site. This inspection included: document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

A child's record shall contain the work addresses for parents.

Child #1 has been in care for one month. The child's record did not contain work addresses for both parents.
Plan of Correction: The work addresses will be obtained from the parents today at pick up.
Standard 8VAC20-800-750-D
The product shall not be used beyond the expiration date of the product.

One topical ointment had expired over six months ago.
Plan of Correction: This ointment was disposed of immediately.
Standard 8VAC20-800-830-B
Shelter-in-place procedures shall be practiced a minimum of twice per year.

Shelter-in-place procedures were not practiced in 2024.
Plan of Correction: Two shelter in place drills will be completed and documented in 2025.
