Inspector Notes
Conducted an unannounced renewal inspection at 11:55am. Observed 26 children + 6 direct-care staff. Ratios and supervision were in compliance. Children were napping during the inspection. Infants were being fed lunch and napping. The facility was found to be clean and well supplied with toys and equipment for the children. A new STEM classroom is in development and scheduled to open by the summer. Areas of non-compliance with standards and laws reviewed were found. Violations
3Evidence:
1. Staff #8 ? There was no documentation of the staff person having a minimum of 6 months experience. Date of hire was 11/21/22.
2. Staff #9 ? There was no documentation of the staff person having a high school diploma. Date of hire was 4/9/18.
Evidence:
1. The infant room/group and the 2 year-old room/group were not supervised today by a staff person with qualifications to work as a Lead Teacher.
2. These rooms/groups were supervised by Staff #6 and #9 today.
3. Staff #6 was working alone, while Staff #9 was supervising a potential employee/new-hire.
