Inspector Notes
An unannounced Code Compliance inspection was conducted with the director and one staff member on October 11, 2022 beginning at 11:32 AM and ending at 12:36 PM. There were 17 children, ages 4 through 5 years old, in care during the inspection. The children were observed playing with age-appropriate toys and interacting with staff. Five children's records were in compliance with the code requirements. Five staff records were reviewed. There were no medications on site to be reviewed. Facility policies and procedures were reviewed and in compliance.

Based on a review of documentation, not all of the facility staff had documentation of a central registry background check within 30 days of their first day of employment. Evidence: Staff A?s (start date: 8/16/2021) record did not contain documentation of a central registry finding.
Plan of Correction: The facility staff stated that the central registry background check was requested but documentation was not available during the inspection. The director was not available during the inspection. Follow-up regarding the staff's central registry will be completed once the director returns.
