During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. If there were any serious injuries or fatalities related to a violation, the details will be included in the description of the violation.

Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site renewal inspection was initiated on 6/16/25 and completed on the same day, as a part of licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 9:30 and ended at 10:35. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were no children present with the provider; the point total was 0. The inspector reviewed the providers file at the time of the inspection.
This inspection included: document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

The license and any other documents required by the Superintendent shall be posted in a conspicuous place on the licensed premises.

The most recent is not posted. The license posted is from the last licensing period.
Plan of Correction: I will print the license i got in my email.
Standard 8VAC20-800-50-A
The family day home shall keep a written record of children in attendance each day.

The records of attendance does not have the attendance for the last week the provider had children in care in February.
Plan of Correction: The last week with the children were hectic, I will make sure I keep the attendance records if I have children in care again.
Standard 8VAC20-800-830-C
Documentation shall be maintained of emergency evacuation and shelter-in-place drills that includes:

Written documentation of the emergency drills done from November 2024 to February 2025 could not be located during the inspection.
Plan of Correction: I think I did record the emergency drills but I can not find the paper. I will make sure I record the drills when I do them when I have kids in care.
