Inspector Notes

A renewal inspection was completed on 12/13/2022 from 2:40pm until 4:40. There were 31 children present with 7 staff supervising which included the director/owner.
The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records and 5 staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation, the center had a portable heater in use.
Evidence:
1. There was a portable heater in the infant room on the counter (inaccessible to children) in use.
Portable heaters are only allowed to be used in an emergency.
Plan of Correction: Corrected during the inspection; the director removed the heater.
