A Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted on 7/21/22 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. A total of 71 children were present with 13 staff. The physical plant, programming, menus, 5 staff records, 7 children?s records, 9 medication, emergency drills, policies and emergency supplies were inspected. Children were observed napping, eating snack, diapering, getting ready for outdoor play, and playing on the playground. There was an adequate number of staff trained in CPR/First aid at the time of inspection. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
