Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was conducted on 5/25/2022 with the program administrator. There were 10 children present, with summer camp staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 2 child records and 1 staff record were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on review of the emergency drill log and staff interview, the facility failed to maintain documentation of all practiced emergency drills. Evidence: there were no documented evacuation drills for 10/2021, 11/2021, 12/2021, 1/2022. 2/2022, or 4/2022. Only one (of two required) shelter in place drills was documented in 9/2021.
Plan of Correction: Emergency evacuation drills will be documented monthly.
