Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on site on 5/19/2022. The inspectors arrived at 9:25 AM and departed at 11:23 A.M. There were 38 children 8 staff were present. Reviewed three children records and four staff records during the inspection. Discussion with staff about virtual record keeping, and attendance.
Observed the children during free play outside, arrival and morning snack.

Based on interviews with the director, the center failed to ensure that they developed a written procedures for prevention of shaken baby syndrome or abusive head trauma, including coping with crying babies, safe sleeping practices, and sudden infant death syndrome awareness.
Plan of Correction: The center will develop a written procedure and policy and review with all staff.
