Inspector Notes

A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 1/24/2024 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 45 children under the supervision of 13 staff. Children were observed napping, resting quietly, interacting with staff. There were medications on site today. There was a sufficient supply of books, toys, and materials that were developmentally appropriate for the children in care. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements. If you have any questions regarding this inspection, please contact the licensing inspector, Keesha Minor at (540) 340-2672, keesha.minor@doe.virginia.gov
