Inspector Notes

An on-site renewal inspection was concluded on 02/18/2022, between the hours of 9:30 am through 12:30 pm. The Provider was contacted in person and an on-site inspection was conducted. Specific documentation was also requested prior to inspection; making up the virtual component of this inspection. There were 10 children present (25 points), ranging from infant to preschool age, with 3 caregivers supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration; physical plant; staffing and supervision; programming; medication; special care and emergencies; and nutrition. A total of 12 children records, 6 household records, and 3 staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined that there was (1) non-compliance with an applicable standard. This violation was documented on the Violation Notice issued to the program.

Based on review, the Provider did not review the Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan (EP&RP) annually (updating plan as needed), and document in writing each review and update to the emergency plan.

Evidence -
1. On the date of inspection (02/18/2022), the last documented review of the EP&RP was dated - 10/16/2019.
2. The EP&RP for the family day home was observed posted on the parent bulletin board.
Plan of Correction: Corrected on the date of inspection. Provider reviewed, signed, and dated the EP&RP.
