Inspector Notes

A renewal inspection was conducted on 6/24/2022 with the center director and staff. There were 19 children present, ranging in ages from 2 years to 12 years, with 3 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records and 3 staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation, the facility failed to ensure that when food is brought from home, the food containers shall be dated and labeled in a way that identifies the owner for children's food containers. Evidence: The children's lunch boxes did not have a date on them. Children's bottles and sippy cups were not dated or labeled in a way to identify the owner.
Plan of Correction: All foods containers sent from home will be labeled and dated.
