Inspector Notes

A subsidy health and safety inspection conducted on 12/13/2022. There were 10 children, ages 6 months ? 4 years and 4 staff present during the inspection. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, personnel, environment and equipment, care of children, preventing the spread of disease, emergencies and nutrition. A total of 2 children?s records and 5 staff records were reviewed. The children were observed during circle time, handwashing and lunch. The inspector arrived for the inspection at 9:45am and departed the center at 1:21pm.

A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the provider.

Based on the review of five staff?s records, the center failed to ensure that all staff who work directly with children shall have within 90 days current certification in CPR appropriate to the ages of children in care.

Evidence: Staff 2, Staff 3 and Staff 4 most recent CPR certification expired 6/30/2022 and on the day of the inspection did not have current CPR training.
Plan of Correction: Provider will obtain CPR certification for staff.
