Inspector Notes
Conducted an unannounced inspection at 10:40am. Observed 147 children + 27 direct-care staff. Ratios and supervision were in compliance. Children were engaged in a variety of activities to include: circle time; playing with blocks, toys and puzzles; active outdoor play and water play; transitioning to/from water play; eating lunch and taking naps. Staff were actively engaged with the children and activities, and promptly tending to the needs of the children. Lunch served: turkey meatballs in marinara sauce, potato tots, fruit and milk. One group of children were on a fieldtrip (3 staff:15 children). The facility was found to be clean and well supplied toys and equipment for the children. Management implements monitoring systems and strives to exceed the State standards. Areas of non-compliance with standards and laws reviewed were found.
