Inspector Notes
An unannounced complaint inspection was conducted on 11/21/2023 from 1:30 pm to 3:55 pm in response to a complaint that was received in the licensing office on 10/19/2023 regarding alleged noncompliance in the areas of operational responsibilities, procedures for emergencies, parent involvement and general recordkeeping and reports.
At the time of entrance, 26 children, ages 8 weeks to 5 years old, were in care with 5 staff members. In addition, 2 administrative staff were present. Five children's records and 5 staff records were reviewed. Written Policies, procedures and handbooks were reviewed as well as related documentation, communication and anecdotal notes stored via the center's electronic communication program. Related text and phone logs, and specific related Medical documentation were reviewed. Physical Plant / Classrooms were inspected and adult / child interactions were observed. Interviews were conducted with 2 staff. Based on the information gathered during the investigation, there was not sufficient evidence to support the allegations, so the complaint is found to be not valid. There are no violations resulting from this complaint investigation.
