Inspector Notes
A monitoring inspection was conducted today, May 1, 2023. The licensing inspector was onsite from approximately 2:00pm until 3:50pm. The director was on site and participated with the inspection. There were 23 children present, ranging in ages from seven months to seven years, with four staff supervising. Children were observed having snack and later playing in centers that consisted of blocks, coloring and dinosaurs. Infants and toddlers had playtime on the floor and in the exersuacer. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, and medication. A total of four children's records and four staff members? records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and a violation was documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

A protruding nail and split board were observed as part of the playground fencing creating components that could entangle clothing or snag skin.

Staff #5 was observed supervising eight children in the Two?s Classroom. Staff #5 was the only staff member supervising the eight children in the classroom. Staff #5 did not have current CPR as of 05/01/2023.
