The assistant director was on site and participated with the inspection. Later the director arrived. There were 16 children present, ranging in ages from seven months to five years with four staff supervising. Children were observed building with magnetic blocks and legos and working puzzles. Infants were playing with toys on the floor. Later children listened to a story and prepared for lunch. Children provide their own lunch which were labeled with their name and date. Diapering and handwashing was observed.
The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, and medication. A total of seven children's records and five staff members? records were reviewed.
