Inspector Notes

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews and a virtual tour of the program.

A complaint inspection was initiated and concluded on February 1, 2022. The director was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. An investigation was conducted virtually in response to a complaint that a monthly evacuation drill was not conducted. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of emergencies. Staff interviews and records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined did support non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on interview and record review, the center did not implement a monthly evacuation drill.
Evidence:
1. Staff #1 confirmed that a monthly evacuation drill was not conducted for the month of January.
2. Documentation for evacuation drills indicated that an evacuation drill for the month of January was not completed.
Plan of Correction: Evacuation drills will be implemented monthly. In order to make up for the missed evacuation drill, the center will conduct two evacuation drills for the month of February.
