Inspector Notes

A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on April 11, 2023 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. At the time of entrance, seven children were in care with three staff members present. Children were observed during circle time,, engaged in group activities and handwashing. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.

Based on record review, all caregivers did not have current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR) appropriate of children in care.
Evidence:
1. Caregiver #3's (Start date-09/16/2016) record had documentation of expired CPR. Caregiver #3's CPR expired on 11/16/2020.
Plan of Correction: The caregiver will get certified in CPR.

Evidence:
1. Caregiver #3's record (Start date-09/16/2016) did not have documentation of current certification in first aid. Caregiver #3's first aid certification expired on 11/16/2020.
