Inspector Notes
A monitoring inspection was initiated and concluded on June 13, 2023 from 9:17 am until 12:31 pm. There were 127 children present with 18 staff supervising and 2 administrative staff on site. The inspector completed observations of the children engaged in active play with peers, working on Math, alphabet letters, writing, painting, counting money, completing bathroom breaks, and participating in outdoor play on the equipment. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 7 child records and 7 staff records/medication were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Violations
2Evidence: In Staff#3's record (date of hire: 09/01/22) there was no results of a central registry finding for the state of GA. In Staff#4's record (date of hire: 08/23/21) there was no results of a criminal and central registry findings for the state of TX. Interview with staff confirmed the out of state results were not available for review during the inspection.
Evidence: In Children's House 3-6 bathroom, the toilet would not flush. Interview with staff confirmed the toilet not working properly.
