Violations

1
Standard 8VAC20-780-280-B
Based upon observation, the facility has not ensured that hazardous substances are kept in locked places using safe locking methods that prevent access by children.
Evidence:
There were two small bottles of saline solution with warning labels stored in children's high cubbies in room 6.
Plan of Correction: The facility responded with the following:
As standards allow for diaper creams to be stored in areas inaccessible to the children, staff misunderstood that the saline could also be stored to be inaccessible to the children. The staff immediately moved the saline to a locked location.
