Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews, and a virtual tour of the program.

This inspection was initiated and concluded on 02/02/2022. The Director was contacted and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 24 preschool age children present, with 4 staff supervising in 2 groups. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration; physical plant; staffing and supervision; programming; medication; special care and emergencies; and nutrition. A total of 5 children records, 1 board officer record, and 4 staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined that there was (1) non-compliance with an applicable standard. This violation was documented on the Violation Notice issued to the program.

Based on review, 1 of 4 staff files indicated that it has been more than (5) five years since the date of the most recent central registry finding (CPS check).

Evidence -
1. On the date of inspection (02/22/2022), the most current CPS check on file at the center for Staff #1 was dated - 09/20/2016.
2. This review was confirmed on the date of inspection by the Center Director.
Plan of Correction: A new request of the central registry will be submitted for Staff #1. Once the new findings are obtained, they will be shared and reviewed with the Licensing Inspector.
