Inspector Notes

The Licensing Inspector conducted a monitoring inspection on 07/21/2022. The inspector was on site from 9:45am until 12:30pm. There were 44 children age?s five to twelve under the supervision of five staff. Children were observed during outside pool time. Five children?s records and four staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on record review and interview, the center failed to obtain a copy of the results of a search of the central registry for any founded complaints of child abuse or neglect within 30 days of employment.

Evidence: Staff #3, which was hired on 06/02/2022 had no documentation of the required Central Registry check on file. There also was no documentation on record for updates on the form during the inspection on 7/21/2022.
Plan of Correction: HR will reach out and check on the forms.
