Inspector Notes

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on July 27, 2023 from approximately 9:15 am to 10:00 am. There were 9 children for a total of 25 points directly supervised by 3 staff. The home, 2 staff records, 2 children?s records, 2 household member?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on-site today. Children were observed playing freely with blocks and eating snack.

There was an assortment of age appropriate materials for children. The home was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Based on staff and household records review, the applicant did not authorize the family day home to obtain a copy of the results of a criminal history information check from every 5 years.
Evidence:

Based on records review, the provider did not obtain a minimum of sixteen clock hours of training annually in areas relevant to their job responsibilities.
