Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring code compliance inspection was completed on 1/31/24 from 10:15am until 11:40. There were 24 children and 4 staff present.

The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies. A total of 4 staff records and 5 children?s records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violation were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on record review, the center did not have the required fingerprints completed.
Evidence:
1. Staff #3 and #4 did not have fingerprints completed before the hire date.
Plan of Correction: The fingerprints will be completed.

Based on record review, the center failed to get the required background checks on employees.
Evidence:
1. Staff #3 and #4 did not have sworn statements completed before employment. Staff #3 and #4 did not have central registry checks completed within 30 days of hire.
