Inspector Notes
An unannounced monitoring visit was conducted. Seven classrooms were present with 51 children supervised by direct care staff. Observed children transitioning to lunch (beans and rice, salad and fruit), infant care, circle time and transition to the playground. Emergency medications were on-site with authorizations completed and stored in a safe manner. Multiple staff are trained in Medication Administration Training (MAT0, Daily Health Observation, First Aid and CPR. Emergency preparation is current for drills, maps and supplies. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. 2 upper cabinets containing bleach bottles were unlocked in Two's-1 and 3's classrooms.
Evidence:
The allergy list was not kept confidential in the Pre-K, Infant and Toddler-1 classrooms as it was not covered up or kept inside a cabinet.
