Inspector Notes
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on 5/20/2024 at 11:19am. There were 49 children (infants to 5 years) directly supervised by 20 staff. The physical plant, 2 staff records, 5 children?s records, 0 children's medications and medication authorization records, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in group play, listening to stories, playing outside, eating lunch, and preparing for and taking naps. Diapering and hand-washing procedures were also observed. There was a sufficient supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. There was an adequate number of staff with current certification in MAT, CPR and First Aid, as well as DHO training. Staff-to-child ratios were in compliance. The center was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in this report. Violations
4Evidence:
1) observed disinfectants in an unlocked cabinet in the Toddler 2 room.
2) observed Lysol, Clorox, disinfectants in an unlocked cabinet in the Pre K room.
3) observed Clorox wipes in an unlocked cabinet in the Twos room.
Evidence: observed that the children's medication was kept in a backpack with ziploc bags, and not locked in any way to prevent access by children.
Evidence: observed that there was diaper cream in the Toddler 1 classroom that was not labeled with the child's name.
Evidence: reviewed 5 children's records and found that child 2 did not have documentation of addresses for their emergency contact.
