Inspector Notes
A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was conducted on October 5, 2023 with the center director and staff. There were 146 children present with 19 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-790-600-D-1
Based on staff interview and review of ten staff records, the facility failed to have each staff current in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Evidence: Staff 1, Staff 3, Staff 4, Staff 5, Staff 8, and Staff 9 did not have documentation of current CPR on file. The center director stated that the CPR training had not been scheduled.
Plan of Correction: First aid and CPR training will be scheduled as soon as possible.

The center director stated that the first aid training had not been scheduled.
Plan of Correction: The center director stated that a CPR class will be scheduled as soon as possible.
